Safety Instructions According to EU GPSR
1. General Safety Instructions:
This product is intended for outdoor use only. Do not use the grill in enclosed spaces, garages, or under unventilated roofs.
Maintain a minimum distance of 1.5 m from flammable materials, including wood, plastic, paper, and textiles.
Never leave the grill unattended when in use or while it is still hot.
2. Heat and Fire Hazards:
The grill and its components become extremely hot during use. Do not touch hot surfaces without suitable heat-resistant gloves.
Place the grill on a stable, heat-resistant surface.
Do not pour water onto hot ceramic parts or coal! This may cause cracking or damage.
Only use charcoal or briquettes suitable for ceramic grills. Do not use gasoline, spirits, or other flammable liquids.
The grill must be completely cooled before transporting or storing it.
3. Ventilation and Smoke Development:
The Kontrol Tower vent allows you to control the air flow. Ensure the ventilation is free of obstructions to avoid smoke buildup and oxygen deprivation.
When smoking with the SlōRoller hyperbolic insert, increased smoke may develop. Ensure good air circulation.
4. Mechanical Safety:
The Air-Lift hinge reduces the weight of the dome. However, the dome must be opened and closed carefully to avoid injury.
The stainless steel latches must be properly closed to prevent accidental opening of the grill.
5. Cleaning and Maintenance:
The stainless steel charcoal basket and cooking grates must be cleaned regularly to prevent the accumulation of grease or ash.
Use only suitable cleaning agents and avoid harsh chemicals that could damage the materials.
Regularly check the double-thickness wire mesh fiberglass gasket for damage and replace it if worn.
6. Child and Animal Protection:
Keep children and pets at least 2 meters away from the grill during operation.
Never allow children to play near or touch the grill unsupervised.
7. Disposal and Environment:
This product contains metal, ceramic, and plastic parts. Dispose of it in accordance with local regulations for waste equipment and recycling.
Ash residues must be disposed of in an environmentally friendly manner after they have completely extinguished.
