The Anckeramic Story
Leon Ancker, avid chef and founder of Anckeramic, has been working with food and cooking utensils for more than thirty-five years. The desire for a really robust, sharp and aesthetic grater led to the development of the hand-made Ceramico ceramic grater plates.
The goal was to develop a product that would last a lifetime. That's why we burn our ceramic grater in the oven at 1240c - a much higher temperature than most other manufacturers.
The ceramic graters are handcrafted by Minna Sola, whose family has been making ceramic products and ceramic stoves since 1952.
