Welcome to my kitchen, where today the ceramic grater is the star plays! There is a wide range of tools in the world of kitchen utensils, but the ceramic grater is undoubtedly one of the most versatile and practical tools. Their fine grinding surface allows us to prepare ingredients in a way that enhances the flavor and texture of our dishes.

In this blog article, I would like to introduce you to a delicious cooking recipe that uses a ceramic grater is essential. Let's dive into the world of taste and discover the magic of this wonderful kitchen aid!

Lemon Garlic Pasta with Parmesan

Ingredients:

  • 250 g spaghetti or another type of pasta of your choice

  • 2 lemons

  • 4 cloves of garlic

  • 4 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil

  • 1 teaspoon red chilli flakes (optional)

  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste

  • 50 g freshly grated parmesan (use the ceramic grater!)

  • A handful of fresh parsley, roughly chopped

Preparation:

  1. Boil water: Fill a large saucepan with water and bring to a boil. Salt the water liberally to flavor the pasta.

  2. Grate the lemon zest: Use the fine grinding surface of the ceramic grater to grate the zest from the lemons. Be careful to rub off only the yellow layer and avoid the white as this can be bitter. Set aside the grated lemon zest.

  3. Prepare the garlic: Peel and finely chop the garlic cloves. If you are a garlic lover, you can use the Ceramic Grater to grate the garlic into a fine paste. This intensifies the garlic taste.

  4. Cook the pasta: Add the spaghetti (or any other type of pasta) to the boiling water and cook the pasta al dente according to the instructions on the package.

  5. Fry the garlic and lemon zest: In a large skillet, heat the olive oil and add the chopped (or grated) garlic. Fry it lightly until golden brown. then add the grated lemon zest and fry for about a minute.

  6. Add pasta: When the pasta is al dente, drain the pasta, reserving a small cup of the cooking water. Add the cooked pasta to the pan with the garlic and lemon zest and mix well.

  7. Add Parmesan: Now comes the delicious part! Use your ceramic grater to grate the fresh parmesan directly over the pasta rub. The fine abrasion will combine wonderfully with the other flavors and give the dish an intense taste.

  8. Season and serve: Give the pasta a good stir to evenly distribute the parmesan. Add salt, pepper, and red chili flakes as needed to achieve desired flavor. Sprinkle the chopped parsley over the pasta and serve immediately.

BON APPETITE !
